Regional Vice President of Sales
- Position Overview
As the Regional Vice President of Sales at local2u, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy and execution. You will be responsible for leading our sales teams, developing sales plans, and ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ready to immerse themselves in the market and understand the unique needs of rural communities. The position requires being based in West Virginia and includes travel to our various locations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in both home broadband and cellular services. Lead and motivate sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities across the 48 states where we have real estate, focusing on rural areas. Develop plans to build out our service offerings in these locations.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers and community leaders to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Advocate for our services and the value they bring to underserved areas.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Create a collaborative and competitive sales culture that encourages continuous improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to make informed decisions. Adjust strategies as needed to meet evolving market conditions and business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technology teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Ensure cohesive messaging and strategy across all departments.
- Travel: Regular travel within West Virginia and to other locations as needed to support sales efforts and engage with local teams and stakeholders.
- Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the telecommunications or wireless internet industry.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and expanding market presence. Experience with both home broadband and cellular services is highly desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Experience building and leading diverse sales teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel regularly within West Virginia and occasionally to other states.
