Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installer of Flag Pole to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing flag poles at rural US Post Offices across various locations. This role requires travel, as well as the ability to operate a boom crane and an excavator. If you have a strong background in construction, experience with flag pole installations, and possess the necessary licenses, we encourage you to apply.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Travel to rural US Post Offices to install flag poles according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Operate a boom crane and an excavator to lift and position flag poles securely.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine the optimal location for flag pole installation.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment, tools, and materials are available for each installation project.
• Dig and prepare foundation holes for the flag poles using an excavator.
• Ensure proper alignment and leveling of the flag poles during installation.
• Securely anchor flag poles in the ground using appropriate methods and materials.
• Inspect and test flag pole installations to ensure stability and durability.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including documenting any issues or challenges encountered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe work environment.

 

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or a related field.
• Previous experience with flag pole installations is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• License to operate a boom crane and an excavator is required.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in various locations.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
